Ireland has a wonderful combination of both links and parkland golf courses, two of the finest of which are to be found at the Headfort Golf Club, 10 minutes from Teach Cuailgne.

Established in 1928, Headfort Golf Club boasts a 36 hole layout in the Old and New courses, in a picturesque setting of beautiful trees and greens.

 

The new course, which was designed by Christy O'Connor Jnr., was opened in 2001 to rave reviews.

 

The new clubhouse was completed last year and provides superb facilities and catering.
